The Barn
Castle Farm teaches all backgrounds and experience levels, from those who have never ridden to experienced, seasoned competitors.
The key tenets of our barn family are: safety, fun, and everyone is welcome.
Amenities include:
12 acres (with a pond!)
140 ft x 70 ft fenced and lit sand arena
20 m x 60 m grass dressage arena
60 ft lit round pen
Grass stadium jump field
Cross country jump field from Green as Grass to Training level height
Wooded trail
Owner and barn manager live on property
Castle Farm is conveniently located in Knightdale, NC, about 5 miles from the Raleigh Beltline (440) off of Highway 64.
Castle Farm is a working horse farm, and is not suitable to casual, unannounced visitors.
Please make an appointment before you come by, so that we can ensure that someone will be available to greet you.
Driving directions from Raleigh
Take the beltline (440) to the US-64 EAST/US-264 EAST exit, exit number 13B, towards ROCKY MOUNT/WILSON
Take 64 approximately 6 miles to Smithfield Rd.
Turn LEFT onto Smithfield Rd.
Go STRAIGHT across Forestville Rd.
SLOW DOWN when you see Pearly Dr. on your left.
Turn RIGHT onto Tommies Dr.
Castle Farm is the first property on the left side of the road.
